Pipework and Plant Modifications

On-site Welding vs Workshop
Some jobs need on-site welding because the pipework cannot move, or the downtime window is tight. Other jobs are cleaner and faster when they are fabricated in the workshop, then installed as a finished section.
We carry out pipe welding in the environments where it actually happens: tight plant rooms, awkward access, hot surfaces nearby, and systems that need proper isolation. Materials commonly include mild steel welding and stainless steel welding, depending on duty and site standards.
We provide industrial welding with coded welding support where required. Typical work includes weld repairs on pipework and plant components, plus new welds for modifications and tie-ins.
Pipe fabrication and spool pieces
A “simple” pipe repair often becomes a longer job because the replacement section was guessed. Measurements are slightly off, a flange face is out, or the spool piece fouls a bracket on the way in. We avoid that by fabricating with installation in mind. We fabricate:

Manifold fabrication
Plant rooms collect history. Lines get added, drains get rerouted, temporary fixes become permanent. Eventually you end up with a layout that nobody enjoys working on. We carry out manifold fabrication and plant modifications to improve access, drainage, and serviceability. That might mean a new manifold to organise steam distribution, a better arrangement for condensate returns, or a small reroute that removes a dead leg that keeps causing trouble. You should be able to isolate what you need, reach what you need, and maintain it without dismantling half the room.
Steel fabrication and bracketry
Pipework moves. Steam expands. Condensate lines vibrate. If pipe supports are wrong, the pipework takes the strain, and cracks tend to appear where you least want them. We provide steel fabrication for:

Some systems demand stainless. Hygiene environments, corrosion concerns, or a site standard that sticks to stainless for long-term reliability. We support stainless steel fabrication and stainless steel welding where it is the right material for the duty, and we keep the finish practical for industrial use, not showroom looks.
